It’s been a busy crafting weekend. To say that I might be a little obsessed with these super EASY Rib-Twisted Headbands is well…YES I might be.
How cute are the Red ones with the white trim? Just in time for Holidays! All I did for that one is after I worked the pattern I took some Bernat Pipsqueak Yarn and added a single crochet row to the top and the bottom, weaved in the yarn tails then went on to the twist part! SO FUN! If you haven’t see these before you can find the video and the pattern in the post before this one or CLICK HERE to get the pattern!
Will share more of what I’ve been working on a little later! Thanks for stopping by.
Happy Friday All! Well I’ve got another great beginner friendly, fun and EASY project! Need a stash buster project? This is the one for you!

Yay it’s the weekend! Wow what a long and busy week! I was able to get yet another video finished! This one is from a Member of our Crochet Messy Bun Group on Facebook Rebecca Roberts. It’s called the Harvest Hat! It’s a very pretty Beanie with a great look! I was given permission to make a video of it for you all! At end of post. So Sweet! Thank you Rebecca, I know many will enjoy making this gorgeous hat!
Here is the first one I made. Now for the pattern – again I’m not a pattern writer and I used the notes Rebecca gave me.
As I worked the Beanie I made adjustments so I’m hoping you’ll be able to understand.

Hey everyone! Well I’m back with another super cute & easy Graph Beanie! My “HOPE” Beanie. With October being Breast Cancer Awareness month how AWESOME are these???
I did make a video and it’s been filmed and edited. Just waiting for it to be ready to upload on YouTube. I’ll update this post when it’s ready. BUT in the meantime you can at least get the pattern so if you do need to follow me at least you can print out the pattern. Hope Graph Beanie
I do have to say these Graph Style Beanies are super addicting! Well if you have any questions on the pattern or you find a mistake please let me know.
As always thank you for stopping by & Happy Crafting,
I can’t believe I totally forgot to share this update here! So I mentioned in a few post before that The “Original” Katniss Messy Bun Beanie by Diana Borgstrom is still a favorite in our Messy Bun Group! This was my 1st crochet video I ever did. I ended up re-doing it and showing how to do a Full Beanie and where to stop for the Messy Bun Version. I revised the pattern to add a few things to it. Here is the updated version of the pattern: Full Katniss Beanie
If you find any mistakes or have any questions please ask! This Beanie has such great texture! Super easy to make as well. You can’t make just one!
Thanks for stopping by and as always Happy Craftin’…
Hey All! Hope your week is off to a good start! It’s been pretty busy around here! Working on so many different things! I’ve got lots to share this week as I’ve been on a video making mission!
If you are in our Facebook Group then you already know the popularity of the Graph Beanies! It all started with a Coffee Beanie! Then exploded to Mocha, Latte, Fighter and LOTS more! So here is the “Love” Beanie. It was the one that was voted on to make next AND to have a video made of it. Which is done! Thanks to Diana & Lynn for helping with the Graph!
This is my 1st attempt at this type of Beanie and also using the Waistcoat stitch! Which is also known as the Knit stitch. You can kinda see in the letters that it looks knitted.
So I’m sharing the pattern here with you all and I’ll also be posting the video when it’s done. Thinking later tonight. But for sure tomorrow.
**UPDATE Video has been added below. Also just to note since this hat was made using a #5 Bulky yarn I was able to fit the words perfectly on the front. Now you can use a #4 yarn (I plan on making one using #4 soon) but since the yarn is thinner your outcome will be different. I’m just learning this Graph stuff but will share my tips & tricks along the way.
The pattern was updated to add a few things included a chart for left-handed crocheters. If you find any errors please let me know. I am by no means a pattern writer at all. Just do my best to share what I did.

Happy Saturday All! As promised I’m here today with a new Beanie pattern! I came up with this pattern on my own. Very rare but it happens every now and then! My Mom actually showed me the stitch. She made a pretty scarf with it and I thought Hmmmm…we need a beanie to go with it. We have NO idea what the stitch is called so I made up the name. (X-Over)
So last year our Facebook Group we did a 6 week Hat Challenge. Every week we did a different hat that wasn’t already shared in the Group! Now that was hard to do as there are many Free patterns that we share! This was the Beanie we did the last week!
I’m calling this the X-Over Beanie because you are actually crossing over stitches to get this look. I’ll be doing a video on this one for those that are visual. If you have any questions don’t hesitate to ask me!
