What’s been on my Hook

Hey all! So it’s been crazy busy over here. I’ve been getting ready for a Craft Fair I’ll be in very soon and time is just ticking away!  Plus I’m really looking forward to seeing my Daughter and Son-In-Law in a few weeks!!  Looking forward to that!

MermaidOn to what I’ve been working on –

SO I’ve been seeing all these GORGEOUS Mermaid Blankets in a variety of colors and finally I broke down and made one!

Mermaid 1
I absolutely LOVE how this came out!  So as you see mine is Black & Grey well I’m representing “Ursula” which most know is from the “Little Mermaid”.

I had a lot of this yarn and well that’s the first thing that popped into my head!  So right away I thought I’ve got to do the Evil Mermaid! LOL!

Extremely happy with how it turned out! Below in the next picture is the back of it.  So you see how to get into it! Talk about warm & cozy???

Mermaid 2What do you think?  I know I’m for sure going be making more!  In colors of course!  With the Holiday’s just around the  corner these would make GREAT gifts!  If you are interested I will take orders.   I’ll be adding to my Etsy Shop very soon!

If you are a crocheter looking for this pattern you can find it HERE!  It’s a great pattern and super easy to work up! Questions? Please comment here!

More Crocheted Little Mermaids

2nd Mermaid - 1So as promised here is the 2nd Mermaid Doll I made!  I really  like how she turned out too!  She’s absolutely perfect!

These are very addicting to make I do have to admit!

This is paid pattern which you can get HERE – It’s super detailed and has awesome pictures to follow.

A lot of hard work went into this pattern. It takes so much time to make sure written patterns come out right!   Below is a side view picture!

Crocheted Baby Mermaid Cocoon

Hey Crafters!  Well first I hope you all had a great and safe 4th of July celebration for those who celebrated!  We spent it with Family & Friends and GREAT Food!  I’ll have to share of course my Spinach Dip recipe but also that cake that was there! It was Yummy!

Mermaid Cocoon 1Well on to my finally finished project – Yes as the title of this post said Baby Mermaid Cocoon which I had been dying to make!  I have to say I’m very pleased with how this turned out too!

I found a great video on YouTube which I’ll post the link below for those who maybe interested in making one! Don’t be intimidated it’s really easy once you get the hang of it. I had to change it up just a bit as I wanted my scales to lay just a little differently!

There are 3 videos 1 for the Body, 1 for the Bikini Top and the last for the Starfish headband! Click HERE for the Body part then you’ll see the rest.

Mermaid Cocoon 2Materials I used for this project were all Red Heart Yarn – Colors in Turqua, Pumpkin and a little bit of Aran.

I just LOVE the Starfish Headband & The Shell Bikini top!  This would make a great baby shower gift and a super CUTE Photo Prop of your “Little Mermaid”.

These will be in my Etsy shop soon as soon as I take just a little bit better pics! Just had to share before I call it a night!

Well that’s it for now.  I’ll be back tomorrow with the Yummy Spinach Dip Recipe! As always thanks for stopping by and…….
