Full Katniss Beanie

I can’t believe I totally forgot to share this update here!  So I mentioned in a few post before that The “Original” Katniss Messy Bun Beanie by Diana Borgstrom is still a favorite in our Messy Bun Group!  This was my 1st crochet video I ever did.  I ended up re-doing it and showing how to do a Full Beanie and where to stop for the Messy Bun Version.  I revised the pattern to add a few things to it.    Here is the updated version of the pattern: Full Katniss Beanie

If you find any mistakes or have any questions please ask! This Beanie has such great texture!  Super easy to make as well. You can’t make just one!

Still a popular pattern

Happy Tuesday All! Wow this has been a very busy month for me. With end of year school stuff and sports…you know priority’s. But things are winding down and I’ll be sharing lots more with you all.

Well I just have to say when my Friend Diana created this Still Oh so popular pattern in I want to say 2017 – I don’t think she realized how popular it would be next to her Cable Hat pattern. Both which I have made videos for. (click on my YouTube channel above)

Yes the Katniss Messy Bun Beanie is still very popular and after much thought I’ll be re-doing the 1st video I made of this beanie for a few reasons. I would like to show you all how to close it for a full beanie instead of a Messy Bun Hat, I never made a left handed version and last it was my 1st video and I was super nervous!! LOL!
