Good Morning! Well it’s Monday and it’s the start of a New week but also a few days til the end of the Year! Wow I feel this year has gone by so fast!
Well on Friday I shared a Crocheted Slouchy Beanie that I came up with and I’ve already shared the pattern in our FB Group. Both Videos are done and you can see them below. I also wanted to add the Pattern here for you to download as well.
If you have any questions about this pattern please let me know. I’m not a pattern writer so if something doesn’t make sense I’ll explain the best I can. So off to upload the Videos!

Hello, I was curious why you started the FDC with chain-2 rather than chain-3. I’m going to start this tonight, lovely pattern!
Hi Julie, I just personally found that when I started with chain 3 it didn’t seem smooth when I joined. If that makes any sense. When I did a ch-2 after I joined it just looked better when I joined. Thank you and enjoy the pattern. Yvonne
Hey there! I was just wondering, if I begin this hat with a chain instead of FDC, should I chain an even or odd number to end up with an even number of stitches? Do my turning chains count as a stitch when going into the round 1 DC’s? Love this pattern! Thanks!
Hi Lindsay, Sorry I thought I responded to this. Unless you posted on YouTube. Anyway, you want an even stitch count with this pattern. Turning chains don’t count as a stitch.
Glad you love the pattern. Hope I answered your questions. You are so welcome!
Can you please add pattern to ravelry. ..it’s the only place I can save my patterns & work; plus add project pages #!thank you
Hi Cindy, Absolutely – again my Ravelry name is ymetz
Have a great day!
