Hey All! Just a real quick post to share what I’ve been up to! It’s been crazy in this house with all the goodies I’ve been making! Here are a few Hats that I’ve been making for the shop at the Outlet Mall in San Clemente – Gift Boutique & Home Decor! We are getting ready for the Holiday’s and let me tell you if you haven’t been and you are in the area you’ve got to check it out! So many Unique Gifts! I’ll be working this Sunday and will take some pics of the new items and share here. These are just a few of the “Messy Bun” Beanies that I’ve got in there. There are more colors this one is “Cupcake”! I’ll share some more styles with you a little later.
If you are a crocheter and would like the pattern you can download it- Mindless Messy Bun Hat. I’ve also done a video which you can watch by clicking the YouTube button at the sidebar. Or you can see it below.
Thank you for stopping by and I’ll be sharing more hats soon! I have designed 2 hats of my own. I’m happy with the way they turned out! I’m so not a Designer, tester yes, Designer not so much! Til next time….
Seriously, How adorable are these Teddy Bears???!!! After making the 1st one I had enough yarn over to make the 2nd one! Not bad for 1 ball of Caron Sprinkle Cake! Which is a brand new line of yarn. Love this in Birthday Cake color and it’s self striping so you don’t know what color will be next. So in LOVE with how they came out. I’ll for sure be adding these to my Etsy shop also! Thanks again to Sarah from Repeat Crafter Me for a GREAT Project!
If you are in the San Clemente area I’ll be adding them there too! Of course went into work at Michaels last night and picked up some more. I got a new color too! I’ll show you that one a little later! Now to get ready for my Sons Baseball Tournament in San Clemente this weekend! I’m for sure packing my yarn! Let’s see what I get done! Have a great weekend and until next time…..

Well Baseball is officially over for my son. Bitter sweet buy this Mama needed a little break until it all comes around again in August! So it’s time for Fun in the Sun! Well not so sunny right now actually a little foggy lookin outside! But there’s a nice cool breeze.
Anyway, here a quick peek at my latest project. Yes another doll but not sure you can tell what it’s going to be. Since my last doll, which still doesn’t have a name, I’m been just a tad bit obsessed with dolls. This one won’t take as along though.
As always, thanks for stopping by and Happy Craftin’,
So I came across this awesome article that I’d thought I would share! Wish I had this when I started almost 30 some years ago! ; ) If you are starting to get “Hooked” on Crochet check this article out! 5 Crochet Mistakes You Really Don’t Want To Make
So now for my directions for the monkey’s facial features: I’ve never written a pattern so I’m going to do the best I can. They are pretty basic and easy I hope! Now you know we all have a different tension and I tend to crochet tight.
I used a size G Crochet Hook for all the features of the Monkey including ears and arms.
For the Head I used a size F hook. This combo worked for me. You’ll just have to play around and see what works for you after you make the Head.
