Baby Bear Lovey

Well as I mentioned before I added a new item to my Lovey Collection!  I had a customer ask for this sweet bear!  It was my first time making one and I have to say I’m pretty happy with her!  What do you think of the New Sleepy Bear Lovey?  I’ve got a few more coming out soon!

I may just have to try out some different color combinations too!  Any suggestions? I’m thinking I need to add a baby boy bear too! HMMM…..maybe with a baseball cap? Well as always thanks for stopping by!

My “WIP” is done….

Batman

Well Happy “Hump” Day all!  It is safe to say that I am for sure “Hookin” on Hump-Day!
But just had to take a quick break to share the finished product!  Isn’t he just the cutest???  I LOVE making Lovey’s or Security Blankets and I am super happy with how this one turned out!  On the Original pattern it called for “Safety Eyes” which I didn’t have so I ended up crocheting them. But I really like how it came out!  You can find the FREE Pattern HERE! Plus there is a new one I’m going to tackle “Captain America” but first to finish my last “WIP”. I had promised myself I would start anything new until they were done.  It’s so HARD!!

Football Cocoon Anyway, thanks for stopping by and here’s a peek at what’s almost done!  Not sure if it’s obvious what it’s going to be. Any guesses??

Well need to eat and get back to Hookin’, thanks for stopping by and as always….

Crocheted Baby Monkey Lovey pattern links

Hi again!  Well here we go…let me just say that the blanket itself is a Granny Square!  I made my square about 15 x15 which includes the border.

Ok, next I am sharing a link for the Elephant and the a link for the Banana. I can’t post those directions for the banana since it’s from a magazine.
So here are the Links – This one is for the Blankets with all the different ones you can make http://brittasami.blogspot.se/2012/03/baby-blanket.html and the next one is where I found the banana http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/sock-monkey-cuddle-blanket  If you have any problems with them let me know.

Baby Girl Monkey 2So now for my directions for the monkey’s facial features:  I’ve never written a pattern so I’m going to do the best I can. They are pretty basic and easy I hope! Now you know we all have a different tension and I tend to crochet tight.

I used a size G Crochet Hook for all the features of the Monkey including ears and arms.

For the Head I used a size F hook.  This combo worked for me.  You’ll just have to play around and see what works for you after you make the Head.

Whole lot of Monkey Business

HelloGroup Monkeys all!  Well I wanted to re-share this post from last month which was on the old blogging platform I was using.

I had an order for 4 of my Baby Loveys that I sell in my Etsy Shop.  The most popular one is the Crocheted Baby Ella the Elephant Lovey, next is this Monkey.  Well I absolutely LOVED how these babies came out and totally missed them when I had to ship them out!  I just love how the faces came out!

Gotta Love the Banana in the hand too!  I was asked if I had a pattern and gave out most of the links but I made the facial features myself and will post later tonight or early tomorrow.

I’ll post all the links for everything.

Thanks for stopping by and Happy Craftin’,
